Domestic animals, especially dogs, seem to pick up information from objects. This is probably partly due to their very fine tuned sense of smell, hearing, sight. However, some animals can also pick up the vibrations from objects held or used by people they never met. Dogs who are used to trace missing persons, lost children, probably do this with about 80% smell but I don't doubt that they also use their psychic ability to trace the feeling they get from the object that was handled by the lost person. Although I have done very little psychometry, I'm a sensitive when it comes to houses. I can feel if the people who have inhabited a property were happy, unhappy, violent or just average. I can pick up on the left over vibrations of extreme events that have happened, both good and bad. I've done this to help clients who wanted to be sure they were NOT purchasing a property that still had the lingering problems of former owners. Cats are excellent property sponges. I have noticed that they express nervousness and discomfort in a place where unpleasant things have happened. Otherwise, they are relaxed little couch potatoes. If you want to clear a house of bad feelings, just get a cat and watch where he/she wanders and watch how his/her fur stands up or lays down. You will usually be able to identify the troubled spots.

I would imagine that all objects hold information about their owners. Apparently dna is a very good transmitter of psychic information.
