You can contact your spirit guide. You just have to meditate on it and when your guide feels that you are ready they will make themself known to you. I believe every person has a guide. It is just when the person is ready for the guide to make it self known. Sometimes they will come at a very young age or when you are older. It just really depends on your spirit if it is ready for it. My guide comes and goes. She is here when I really do need her. Other times she is not even though I would like to have her here with me. Yes you can talk to your guide. Sometimes that is all you need to do. Of course they do talk back. they may not say anything to your right off but it will come to you in different ways. Some people have dreams other just know right off hand. Or your guide can point at something to tell you.

I can't add more then my fellow readers,but i love my guides! I call them Guys,because i feel they are a collective group of spirits.They assist me in my daily life ,and my work. I communicate with them telepathically and visually,i know they have feminine and masculine energies ,they are teachers and have interest to assist people in knowledge of spiritual growth and self realization. Sometimes questions about material possessions do not make much sense to them...I know we knew each others from many past lives...

Ianna puts it eloquently. Guides are actually so much more subtle than how I describe them to be. Birds often guide me, and close attention to dream symbology has changed my perspective-- and subsequently, my path.

It is my understanding that everyone is given a guardian angel at birth. This angel is with you for your entire life. However, other teachers, spirits and angelic entities will come and go through out your life when certain lessons or problems are required. So at any given time we may have a number of spiritual beings at our side working to help us through this lifetime. Helpig us to learn and to grow spiritually.

What a great question! I agree that everyone has at least one spirit guide. A lot of people don't want to listen or recognize what their spirit guide has to say. They may agree with them, or they may think they are going over the deep end if they even think about such a concept. As for me, I have 3 guides, which I lovingly refer to as "my guys". The first time I chose to recognize them was when I was walking on a beach in Hawaii. They told me to get a deck of tarot cards and learn about life's lessons. I didn't even know what a deck of tarot cards were, at the time I was a good little Catholic girl and "tarot" was considered black magic. The message was not quiet or subtle, it was like someone was shouting in my ear. I listened for the first time and got a deck of tarot cards that very day and I have never looked back.
